GEOCOAST aims to broadcast educational videos about Ireland's coastal and marine environments with particular focus on coastal geology and geomorphology. This initiative is currently under development and lead by the University College Cork and supported by the Irish Government funded INFOMAR programme http://www.infomar.ie/. This YouTube channel is accompanied by the online Map Guide at http://www.geocoast.ucc.ie/ allowing you to select videos based on their geographical locations. New videos are constantly added - please subscribe to get informed about new uploads.

E coli detected in water at seven Cork beaches

Cork County Council has said it will be at least two days before it knows whether swimming can resume at seven beaches in the county, including three blue flag beaches.
